Myringotomy with Tube Insertion (ear tubes)

A myringotomy is a surgical procedure that decreases pain and pressure in the ear caused by fluid buildup in the middle ear. In a myringotomy, the fluid is drained out through a hole created in the ear drum. Sometimes, a tube may also be inserted in the hole to regulate the drainage. The fluid can range from blood and pus to water.

Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS)

FESS is a minimally invasive surgery for those experiencing severe sinus symptoms. Surgeons take a nasal endoscope, a thin tube that contains lenses and light, and use that to ease sinus symptoms.
